Yuk. This place was run down and dirty. The roads were not taken care of with new gravel causing them to be muddy. The game room had nothing but OLD run down video games that hardly worked (some controllers bad). The putt-putt was covered with small pieces of gravel, weeds and the green carpet was old and torn up. The water kept turning orangish-brown and the pressure kept getting low enough to hinder a good shower. Graveyard nearby. Will never return.
Nice place, but you practically have to get a bank loan to afford it. Bring plenty of money. Thats the only reason I rate it low is due to its prices. Be ready to pay for EVERYTHING. Out the ying yang. Would LOVE to come back again but cannot afford it.
Nice place. Pool ALWAYS has WAY, WAY too much chlorine in them. You could kill 100 gallons of pure Ecoli in it if needed. Burns your eyes badly. This year they are having more activities for the campers which is nice, otherwise be prepared to entertain yourself. Watch the creek, there are a lot of various items thrown in it like broken glass and metal items. Two good sized cities nearby, Newark and Granville. Newark has all major stores and restaurants in it. Not a very good location to pick up local channels on the TV. Nice little store with many things for kids. They offer good food on their menu. The man who runs the place is always very helpful with anything you ask him. They use hardwood (good!) for the firewood that you can buy there. Hayrides are fun. Halloween was a good time in 2007.
Nice clean place. Quiet with mostly older campers there. Near the Muskingum River. Real nice pool. Game room consists of 2 games (not good for kids!) Entertainment on occasion. They do have a website.
Good entertainment there on weekends. Campsites are REALLY close together even without a slideout. A lot of people who like to party there (not always so good). Would go back but don't expect it to be quiet there.
